Spencer Community Theatre (SCT) continues our 63rd Mainstage Season with the family-friendly holiday classic Miracle on 34th Street The Play. Join us in December!

“This is a tale that we want to believe in, that creates a world we seem to desperately desire, free of the blatant commercialism that surrounds us, where love and decency and generosity of spirit are their own rewards. What we want Christmas to be all about, really.” So writes the Santa Cruz
Sentinel of this most heartwarming holiday story. Single mother, Doris Walker (Lindsey Matthiesen), doesn’t want her six-year-old Susan’s (Hallie
Stevenson, Bryn McNea) head filled with romantic notions. Their neighbor, Fred Gailey (Trenten Hnasen), tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy’s, where Doris works. Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that Macy’s Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle (Brent Berends), a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts.

Miracle on 34th Street The Play is directed by Dave DeChristopher with assistant direction by Tyler Turner. Miracle on 34th Street The Play is produced through special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois. Miracle on 34th Street The Play is
based on the Twentieth Century Fox motion Picture Miracle on 34th Street.

Miracle on 34th Street The Play is brought to you through generous Sponsorship from Midwest Hearing Clinic.
