2022 Camp Schedule

Theatre Production Camp: Shakespeare’s Got Talent!
(Ages 8-13)
Our host, Puck, the mischievous fairy from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, is joined by the Fool, a classic Shakespearean side character, who adds wit and fun with his not-so-foolish interjections.  Romeo, King Duncan, and Portia create an eclectic panel of judges for a collage of small-cast skits featuring other characters from the Bard’s greatest hits, including Hamlet, King Lear’s three daughters, Desdemona, the witches, and more!
June 20—24 9 am—4pm  $140, $125 for SCT Contributing Members

We Don’t Talk About Intro…to Musical Theatre (Ages 7 & 8)
Campers take center stage as they embark on a charming adventure through the Madrigal family tree. These powerful characters will be the springboard for storytelling, songs, related beginner instrumentation and dances created by the campers to hone basic musical theatre skills.
June 27—July 1 9 am—12pm $80

Popcorn Players: Sherwood Forest (Ages 4 & 5)
Calling all medieval lords, ladies, and their animal friends! Using stories like Robin Hood and The Sword in the Stone , this camp experience will focus on creating allegorical characters and plays through structured creative play, improvisation, and lots of games.
July 5—8 10 am—12 pm $80

Everything is…Legos! (Ages 9-12)
In partnership with Spencer Public Library, campers will channel Lego Master Builder Emmet and maybe even Batman or Unikitty to do something fun and unexpected yet cool and related to theatre…awesomely.  Lord Business and the Kragle will have no power as campers create and recreate sets and characters for stop animation.
July 11—15 9 am— 12 pm $80

Advanced Musical Theatre Cabaret (Ages 11-14)
This camp is the ideal choice for middle school and early high school students who want to sharpen their musical theatre skills! We will focus on the “triple threat” of musical theatre, in which campers will sing, dance, and act. Each camper will work on solo, duo, and ensemble songs and scenes to help them reach their highest potential. The camp will culminate in a musical theatre revue-style performance.
July 18—22 10-4pm $100
